Healing Story with Dadu ❤️

FITTREND's journey began in October 2020 during a village visit to Rajasthan, when I met my Dadu for what seemed like the last time. He lay in bed, his body severely swollen—face, arms, and legs—and I genuinely believed he had only days left to live.

While my family called doctors and sought medications, I knew those approaches alone wouldn't address the root cause. I had studied how the body naturally heals itself, and I wanted to try a different path. Sitting beside him with genuine hope, I asked: "Dadu, would you allow me to stay and help heal you?"

With tears streaming down his face, he replied softly: "My child, please stay. I will do whatever you say."

That moment changed everything. Dadu had suffered a stroke that left his right side paralyzed and was managing Type 2 diabetes. We introduced fresh juicing as the foundation of his recovery plan. The results were immediate and striking. Within half a day, the swelling disappeared entirely. By the second day, his energy had returned so dramatically that he was calling out loudly enough for the neighbors to hear. Within a week, he was walking, stretching, and sitting in the sun on his own.

To everyone around us, it seemed miraculous. Yet not everyone could see the progress clearly. Some family members worried constantly that he wasn't eating solid food and pressured him relentlessly, insisting he would fall ill without traditional meals. Dadu—a man who had always lived independently and strongly, who once drank fresh neem juice daily and shared it with his sons—now faced constant criticism from people who didn't live by even a fraction of his discipline.

The pressure grew, becoming both mental and physical. Some relatives even force-fed him, exploiting his newfound dependence. This interference slowed his healing noticeably. Yet Dadu observed something crucial: whenever he maintained his healing diet, his body felt vibrant and strong. When others interfered, his body struggled.

After nearly two months of mounting pressure, Dadu reached his breaking point. Deeply frustrated, he told me he would rather pass away than endure this constant interference. With an aching heart, I returned to the city, fearing his healing would reverse and he might pass within months.

I was wrong. Despite my absence, Dadu remained steadfast. He requested specific foods, maintained his sunbaths, and kept his dinner routine consistent. He lived until December 2024—proving that his willingness and understanding had become stronger than external pressure.

His journey taught me three essential lessons:

First, knowledge matters. Understanding what your body truly needs is foundational to any healing journey.

Second, willingness is everything. When you're genuinely committed, you will always find a way forward, even when circumstances seem impossible.

Third, community support shapes your success. The right people around you—those who are loving, supportive, and genuinely invested in your growth—make an extraordinary difference. If you don't have that circle immediately, seek out communities that share your goals: running groups, cycling clubs, swimming circles, yoga communities, or online wellness networks. These connections sustain us when pressure comes from unexpected places.
